It's Friday October the 9th - stayed at the Downtown San Fran Hostel International. Tuesday night I stayed in Santa Rosa - Not much there just lots of Box Stores... then yesterday ventured south here to the big city... its not like any other that I have been to. When you first arrive you are weaving through the large hills, then on 101 you arrive to the Golden Gate Bridge! Its a really nice bridge, but the crazy part is how tall the pillars are for the suspension cables! they must be like 100+ stories tall. The fee is $6 to cross and then its just a free for all to get into the city center as fast as you can ( literally every one is racing after the toll center lol). In the downtown center, its very very conjested and busy, and it was awesome as I followed that famous down hill curvy driveway ( very steep downhill and does like 5 "S" shapes... lol i wish i knew what it was called haha) and then by the time I got to California and Levenworth St. the roads were honestly 70 degrees or more! when you were just about to head down at the intersection, you couldn't see any cars past the first 10ft and then you just drop straight down, its amazing that people park and have garages/houses on those streets! There are sooo many people from Europe, and Asia here! i met about 6 people at the hostel and one was from Holland, one from Germany, one from France/Montreal and then a room mate from India, and many swedish people, so interesting all their accents! So my room was awesome, 3 roomies, super cool people, huge kitchen! showered and ready to head on today, I would def stay and explore but there's not a lot of parking here and i parked in a garage about 8 blocks from here haha but I got a big discount from the Hostel. I think I will head East to Manteca, CA and stay at Wal Mart tonight, then head about 2 hours East tomorrow and make the Base of Yosemite Park! I think I will def Camp there for a couple nights - maybe north to Carson City, Nevada after that? lol we will see - No pics again but probably more through the city today.
